Travel by rail
St Louis is a stopping point on Amtrak's daily 'Texas Eagle' service from Chicago to San Antonio, which continues thrice weekly to Los Angeles. Trains on the daily 'Southwest Chief Service' from Chicago to Los Angeles stop in Kansas City; the station is located at 30 West Pershing. There are also twice daily services from Kansas City to St Louis (one of which continues to Chicago) and an additional daily St Louis-Chicago service.
