The airport is located 18 km (11 miles) west from central Belgrade
Belgrade (Beograd) Nikola Tesla Airport is named after the famous Serbian scientist and inventor, and serves the Serbian capital city, Belgrade. Our airport guide includes details of airport contacts, information on terminal facilities, and accommodation options nearby.
An information desk is situated on the ground floor between Terminal Zone 2B and Terminal 2. A 24-hour call centre (tel: +381 11 209 4000) provides general and flight information.
From central Belgrade, follow the E75 to Dobanovci and take the airport exit. The total drive time from central Belgrade to the airport is approximately 30 minutes.
Public Transport
Bus: Minibus line A1 operates from the airport to Slavija Square in the city centre. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes, and a single fare costs RSD300. Bus 72 also travels from the airport into the city, with tickets costing as little as RSD89 if bought in advance in the airport kiosk. Bus timetables are available on the airport website.
Taxi: Cabs are readily available immediately outside the airport. The City of Belgrade and airport administration have create a fare system for taxis from the airport to six different pre-determined zones. Each zone has a set fare price, which ranges from 14-60€, depending on the destination. Head to the taxi information desk in the baggage lobby area to use cab services.
Terminal facilities
Two bank branches operate on the ground floor of Terminal 2. Several ATM machines and currency exchange facilities are available throughout the airport.
Wi-Fi internet access, free for the first 60 minutes of use, is available throughout Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. Public telephones and a post office are also available within the terminals.
There is a self-service Serbian restaurant landside and another offering international cuisine after security. There are also bars and cafés in both public areas and Departures.
A range of shops selling both local and international branded goods are available both landside and airside. Duty-free products are also on sale at the airport.
Baggage trolleys for passenger use are stationed in front of bother terminals, in the car park, and in the luggage collection hall.
Airport facilities
There are no meeting facilities at the airport, but there is a lounge for premium passengers in the transit area that offers basic business services. Meeting rooms are available at city centre hotels.
Two parking lots and a parking garage service the airport and offer different fares for long-term and short-term parking options. One parking lot sits just across the airport terminal, while the furthest option rests just 150 meters from the airport entrance.
Numerous car rental agencies have desks at the airport. Brands include Avis, Budget, Dollar, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt and Thrifty. Offices are situated in the international arrivals area of Terminal 2 and on the ground floor of Terminal 1.
Only a 15-minute drive from the airport, B Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi access and free public parking. Two modern conference rooms are also available.
The Garni Hotel Zeder is the nearest full-service hotel to the airport. This modern hotel offers transportation to and from the airport. Enjoy free parking, high-speed Wi-Fi and massages.
Villa Mondo
A 10-minute drive from the airport, the Villa Mondo guesthouse offers an airport shuttle service, free Wi-Fi, breakfast and friendly staff.
