Valencia Nightlife

Valencia packs a serious punch after dark. The narrow streets of Barrio del Carmen is where most of the action takes place, but don’t expect an early night, things pick up pace around midnight.

Other popular areas for nightlife include Avenida de Aragón, Plaza de Canovas, and the university zone of Avenida Blasco Ibáñez. In summer, the Paseo Neptuno at the beach and the new port are exceptionally lively, attracting the city’s trendiest urbanites.

For updates on the city’s hotspots, check out the free, English-language magazines Cool Carmen and 24/7 Valencia, visit the VLC website (www.visitvalencia.com), or pick up a copy of Eventos en Valencia from the tourist office.
