Weather in Tunis

Best time to visit

April to June and September to October are the optimum times for visiting Tunis - avoiding the heat of the summer and high-season prices and crowds. Winters can be surprisingly chilly and damp, and you'll need to head further south for winter sun. Temperatures, sun umbrellas and hotel prices all go up in high summer (July and August) when the mercury sweats its way to an average of 27°C (80°F).
