Doha Hamad International Airport Guide (DOH)
The airport is located around 9km (5.6 miles) southeast of central Doha.

Plans for a second terminal, to coincide with the 2022 FIFA World Cup competition being held in the country, have been announced, although no official start date for construction has yet been released.
Information desks are situated in the Arrivals Meet and Greet Hall and immediately inside the entrance on Departures Check-in Hall.
The airport is clearly signposted from central Qatar. Follow Al Corniche Street east, turn left on to Ras Abu Abboud Road, then merge onto Ras Abu Abboud Expressway. After about 5km (3 miles) turn left at the roundabout on to the F Ring Road, which leads directly to the terminal entrance.
Public Transport
Bus: Regular Mowasalat bus services 109 and 747 (tel: +974 4458 8588; www.mowasalat.com) operate from the Bus Pavilion (located to the right of the Arrivals Hall) into the city. Payment is via an electronic 'Karwa' Smartcard which can be purchased at ticket vending machines at Doha Bus Station and Doha Hamad International Airport. The ‘Limited’ version of the card is valid for two journeys within 24 hours of purchase and costs QR10. The 'Unlimited' card costs QR20 and is valid for unlimited trips around the city, also within 24 hours of purchase.
Taxi: Taxis (also operated by the state-owned Mowasalat) are readily available from the Taxi Pavilion immediately outside Arrivals. All taxis are metered and have a starting fare of QR25. The journey time into the city centre is 20 minutes or less. Note that only Qatari Riyals in cash are accepted as payment. The same company also offers a limousine service.

Terminal facilities
Multiple bureaux de change and ATMs are available throughout the airport. Follow the signs or enquire at the information desk to find the nearest ATM or bureaux de change. The Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) is located on the ground floor of the Arrivals Hall.
Unlimited free Wi-Fi access is available everywhere in the airport, and there are additional free internet kiosks at various locations. Public telephones (using prepaid cards) are placed throughout the terminal.
There is a good choice of restaurants in various areas of the airport offering local, international and nationality-themed food including an American diner and Italian restaurant.
Doha Hamad Airport has a large space dedicated to duty-free shopping. Dozens of outlets are situated in the central shopping area between concourses A and B, and D and E. These shops specialise in items including luxury goods, electronics, fashion, cosmetics and jewellery.
A lost property service is also in operation at the airport. Airport facilities
There are no meeting facilities at the airport, but a range of conference and meeting rooms are available at larger hotels in the city centre. The nearest to the airport are the Oryx Rotana Hotel (tel: +974 4402 3333; www.rotana.com) and the Crowne Plaza Doha (tel: +974 4408 7777; www.crowneplaza.com). Both of these are about a 20-minute drive from Doha Hamad Airport. There is a business centre in the airport located in the Oryx Lounge, which is free to use for premium passengers or available for a nominal fee.
The airport is fully accessible to disabled passengers, with lifts, ramps, walkways and disabled toilet facilities. Both the short- and long-term car parks have designated disabled parking spaces. The short-term car park can be found on either side of the passenger terminal, while the long-term car park is located on the southern end of the passenger terminal. Both offer covered parking. Passengers are advised to contact their airline prior to travel should they require additional assistance.

Numerous international and local operators are represented at the airport, service counters can be found across the Arrivals Hall in the passenger terminal.
Located inside the passenger terminal, the Airport Hotel offers transiting passengers stays of as little as three hours and has a choice of room types including larger luxury suites. Dining is available, along with a 'wellness centre’ with pool and gym.
Located just a short drive from the airport and within minutes of the city centre, the Oryx Rotana is a luxury facility with multiple restaurants, an outdoor pool and massage parlour. Meeting rooms for business purposes are also available on-site.
Situated within the remits of the city's former airport, the Crowne Plaza is a modern complex close to the main business area. It has full leisure facilities including an outdoor pool, and also offers extensive meeting facilities. Several on-site restaurants are available offering food from around the world.
