The parade makes a 5.6 km (3.5 miles) journey along Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard, past many of the legendary buildings of Old Hollywood. It takes place at night, so wrap up as it can be chilly. And, as always, Santa Claus makes an appearance at the conclusion of every Christmas parade.
