Where to stay in Liechtenstein

Hotels

There is a wide choice of hotels throughout Liechtenstein, both in cities and in the countryside.

Grading: There is the Hotelstars Union grading system from 1 to 5 stars. 

Bed and breakfast

Private pensions or guest houses offer a more personable and cheaper option than hotels, sometimes serving breakfast. There are several available in towns and rural areas.

Camping

There is a campsite at Mittagspitze, Triesen (tel: 392 3677; website: www.campingtriesen.li).

Other accommodation

The Youth Hostel Schaan-Vaduz is between Schaan and Vaduz. It has sleeping accommodation for 110 in a variety of room sizes.
Mountain huts are avilable on some of Liecthenstein's highest peaks, ideal for hikers wishing to stop overnight on a trek (website: www.alpenverein.li).
Ferienwohnungen (holiday homes, or chalets), ranging in size from one to seven bedrooms, can be hired for a week or two's family holiday.
