Bodensee Airport Friedrichshafen Guide (FDH)
The airport is located 4.3km (2.6 miles) northeast of Friedrichshafen city centre, close to the north shore of Lake Constance (Bodensee).
Friedrichshafen Airport is the third largest airport in the southwest German state of Baden-Württemberg. Interestingly, it was the original base for scheduled Zeppelin flights in the early 1900s. Our Friedrichshafen Airport guide includes contract details as well as information on how to get there, where to stay nearby and available services within the terminal.
An information desk (open from 0830-2330) is located in Arrivals. Tourist information is also available.
The airport is clearly signposted from the city centre and is reached easily via the B30 (E54) road.
