Tbilisi International Airport Guide (TBS)
The airport is located about 14.5km (9 miles) southeast of central Tbilisi.

The airport information desk (tel: +995 32 231 0341) is centrally located in the public area, and is open 24 hours.
The airport is directly linked to the city centre by the Kakheti Highway, and is clearly signposted from town.
Public Transport
Infrequent trains run into the city from the airport's dedicated station 70m (230 ft) from the terminal – two services operate, in the early morning (0845), and in the late afternoon (1805). Services operate to the airport at 0755 and 1720 (Journey time: 20 minutes; fare: 0.50 Lari).
Bus:Direct bus services (route 37) operate regularly from outside the terminal to Tbilisi's central railway station (Journey time: 35-40 mins; fare: GEL 0.50).
Taxi:Metered cabs operate from immediately outside the terminal (journey time: 20-25 minutes; fare: GEL25). Taxis can be pre-booked (tel: +995 32 251 1511).
Terminal facilities
Several banks offering currency exchange facilities can be found in the main hall, and a bureau de change is located in Arrivals. A number of ATMs are dotted throughout the terminal building.
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the airport, and public telephones are available within the terminal for passenger use.
Two cafés in arrivals offer snacks and drinks along with a burger outlet that’s open 24 hours. There is also a 24-hour bar.
Duty-free is available in Departures. Euros are accepted in the three outlets, which are open according to flight schedules. Goods offered include the usual mix of alcohol, tobacco and cosmetics, along with local wine, confectionery and souvenirs.
Left luggage facilities are available in Arrivals, and free trolleys are provided. A lost luggage office (tel: +995 32 231 0263) is available in the arrivals hall to help passengers who have misplaced their luggage.
Airport facilities
There are no meeting facilities at the airport, however there is a VIP lounge in Departures and another in Arrivals. Meeting facilities are offered by some of the larger hotels in the city centre including City Partner Hotel Primavera (tel: +995 32 251 146; cph-hotels.com).
International car hire companies Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Europcar and Hertz are represented at the airport, along with a selection of local operators.
Nestled into the bank of the Mtkvari River in Tbilisi city centre, this luxurious major international chain hotel offers a top floor spa with city views, nine meeting rooms for business travellers, a bar, full service restaurant and an in-house casino.
This boutique hotel is, as its name suggests, British-owned. It offers a small business centre, and airport transfers can be arranged. The hotel is located in the city centre, near both the main railway station and Tbilisi‘s major businesses and attractions.
Situated in the heart of Tbilisi, the City Partner Hotel is a 4-star rated property. The hotel’s star attraction is its rooftop pool, but other facilities include restaurants, cafés, a gym and a meeting room for up to 50 delegates.
