Lille Airport Guide (LIL)
Lille Airport is situated 7km (4 miles) south-southeast of Lille.

Lille Airport is located 10 to 15 minutes from the centre of Lille, just off the A1 autoroute. Arriving from Lille on the southbound A1 Lille-Paris autoroute, take exit 20a towards Vendeville. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto D655. At the next roundabout, take the first exit and continue onto Route de l’Aeroport.
Public Transport
Bus: The Lille Airport Shuttle bus transports passengers from the airport to the railway station in the city centre (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: €8). The bus stop is located in the drop-off zone outside entrance door A near the Departures zone and check-in desks. The stop in the city centre can be found outside the CIC building near the Lille Flandres metro station and Lille Europe station.
Taxi: Several taxi companies offer regular services to and from the airport, including Aéroport Taxi (tel: +33 3 2004 4924) and Europe Taxi (tel: +33 3 2056 1919). A full list of providers is available on the airport’s website.
Terminal facilities
Free Wi-Fi Internet access (for up to 15 minutes) is available throughout Lille Airport. A post office is located on Level 2 of the main hall.
Restaurants and snack bars are available at Lille Airport offering a variety of dishes, from regional dishes to sandwiches and salads.
There is a newsagent/bookstore in the main hall on Level 2 and a duty-free outlet (for passengers travelling outside the Schengen/EU area) in the international departures lounge.
There are no left-luggage facilities at Lille Airport. There is, however, a lost and found desk (tel: +33 3 2049 6832) located near the Arrivals Hall exit for enquiries about items lost in the terminal. Luggage trolleys are available and require a token or €1 coin to be released. Luggage trolley bays are located in the Arrivals Hall, car parks and drop-off area.
Airport facilities
Business and conference facilities are available at the nearby Mercure Lille Aéroport hotel (tel:+33 3 2087 4646; all.accor.com), a short drive from the airport.
Lille Airport is equipped with lifts, automatic doors and disabled toilets. There are several reserved car spaces near the entrance of the terminal for disabled passengers. Wheelchairs are available from the airline counters – travellers requiring further assistance should contact their airline at least 48 hours before departure.
There is a Service Call Post for passengers with reduced mobility. This service provides agents to assist passengers with reduced mobility around the airport. Contact the agents using the Call Posts located at the drop-off area and in the entrance hall between the terminal building and the car park. More information is available here.
Short-stay parking is available near the terminal – among the short-term areas is a car park immediately outside the terminal. Long-stay parking is further away but is linked via a shuttle service. Car hire operators: Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt are represented at Lille Airport. Desks are located in the main hall, just outside Arrivals, and the car hire car park is situated a short distance from the terminal building.
The 4-star Novotel Lille Aéroport is located five minutes from Lille Airport to which it is linked via a free shuttle bus service. The hotel has a bar and restaurant, meeting space and a swimming pool. Free parking is available to guests.
The ibis Styles Lille Aéroport provides simple accommodation with air-conditioning and is less than 5 minutes from Lille Airport. Free parking is offered to guests as well as free Wi-Fi and a shuttle bus service to the airport.
A good option for those on business with its large-scale conference room and Wi-Fi access, the Mercure Lille Aéroport hotel runs a free shuttle bus service to the terminal, which is a short distance away. Other facilities include two restaurants, a bar, a fitness centre and a private car park.
