Copenhagen Airport is located a short distance from Copenhagen city centre. The airport has two terminals (T2 and T3). Information

Information desks are in the arrivals and transit halls of Terminals 2 and 3. There is a tourist information desk in the arrivals at Terminal 3.

Transfer between terminals

Passengers can easily walk between Terminals 2 and 3. There is also a free shuttle bus connecting both terminals with parking areas (P15, P17 and P19) and the car rental centre.

Driving directions

From central Copenhagen, head southbound across Langebro Bridge and continue along Amager Amager Strandvej. Then follow the signs to the airport complex. The drive time from central Copenhagen to the airport is approximately 20 minutes without traffic.

Public Transport

Public transport rail

Rail: There are regional and intercity trains that connect the airport with various destinations, including southern Sweden. The station and ticket office are in Terminal 3. Be aware that you cannot buy tickets on the train; you must possess a valid train ticket before boarding.

Metro: The Metro, located in a direct extension of Terminal 3, takes passengers to various stations, including Nørreport Station, a major transport hub in Denmark. The Metro runs every 4–6 minutes during the day, and every 15-20 minutes at night. Please note that the ticket machines do not accept notes, only coins and credit cards.

Public transport road

Bus: Several buses run from Copenhagen Airport to the city centre and other destinations around Copenhagen. Check your journey at rejseplanen.dk. In addition, there are two other bus companies, flixbus.dk and graahundbus.dk, that connect the airport to other parts of Denmark.

Taxi: Taxi drop-off points are right outside Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. A taxi pick-up point is located right outside Terminal 3.

Terminal facilities

Money

ATMs are located in all terminals. Banks are located in Terminal 2. Money exchange offices are in Terminal 3.

Communication

Free Wi-Fi is available in all terminals. There is a post office between T2 and T3.

Food

There are numerous restaurants, bars, cafes and fast food outlets at Copenhagen airport.

Shopping

Over 120 shops, including duty-free shops, are available at the airport.

Luggage

Contact the information desk in the arrivals hall for lost luggage or lost property. The airport holds most items for a maximum of 72 hours only. Copenhagen Airport also offers an online lost property form at cph.force.com.

Other

Other facilities include a children's play area, first-aid services, and outdoor smoking areas.

Conference and business

Copenhagen Airport has many lounges which business travellers can pay for and use. Additionally, Clarion Hotel, opposite Terminal 3, has 33 conference rooms accommodating about 2,000 people. Some of Clarion's conference rooms are located at Terminal 3.

Disabled facilities

Copenhagen airport has a range of disabled facilities, including wheelchair-accessible toilets and disabled parking spaces. Passengers who require escort services should contact the airline before travelling.

Car parking

Copenhagen Airport has more than 10,000 car parking spaces in short-, medium- and long-term car parks. You're advised to reserve a parking space online; please see here for more information.

Car rental

Popular brands such as Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt are presented in the car rental centre. A free shuttle bus operates between the terminals and the car rental centre.

Hotels

Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport sits opposite T3, and there are also a few others near the airport. Other accommodation options are available in Copenhagen city centre and across the Øresund Bridge in Malmo.
