Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is the main airport of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, in the southeast of China. Information

There are several information desks (tel: +86 20 3606 6999 or +86 02 132 1888), both on the second and the fourth floors of the terminal building as well as in the concourse building.

Transfer between terminals

Terminals A and B are situated on opposite sides of the same complex, and can be reached on foot.

Driving directions

A six-lane expressway connects the airport directly with the city. From Guangzhou city centre, the northbound S41 leads directly to the terminal. The total drive time from Guangzhou to the airport is approximately 35 minutes.

Public Transport

Public transport rail

Rail: The Metro line 3 from Airport North and Airport South stations now connect Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport with the city centre. The subway stations are located at both terminals basements. Please prepare exact change as the ticket machine only accepts 5 and 10 yuan bills and doesn’t give change. Ticket fares are according to the distance; they’re usually between ¥2-7.

Public transport road

Bus: Several frequent Airport Express bus routes link Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport with numerous destinations in central Guangzhou and other destinations in the Pearl River Delta region. Some Airport Express Buses also stop at numerous hotels around Guangzhou. Bus services depart from immediately outside the Arrivals areas.

Taxi: Fixed-fare taxis are available outside the Arrivals areas. The journey time to central Guangzhou is 30-60 minutes. Taxi fares start at ¥10 for the first 2.5km (1.6 miles), after which passengers are charged per kilometre.

Money

ATMs, a bank, and a foreign currency exchange service are all located in the terminal buildings.

Communication

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, along with several stationary internet kiosks. Charging points for electronic equipment are also available throughout the terminal. There are also two postal services in the terminal building.

Food

There are numerous cafés and restaurants at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, offering both Chinese and Western options. These eateries can be found in both the arrivals and the departures areas of the airport.

Shopping

There is a good range of shops at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. In addition to the duty-free shops, there are retailers selling electrical appliances, clothes, books, jewellery, cosmetics and wine and cigarettes. There is also a convenience store in the terminal building.

Luggage

There are left luggage facilities throughout the Terminal buildings (tel: +86 20 3606 6859). For lost and found services, call +86 20 96158. Items are held in lost and found for a maximum of 90 days.

Other

There are several baby care rooms in both terminals as well as smoking-allowed rooms, toilets, showers and a medical room. The terminal first aid station (tel: +86 20 8613 3851) is located in the arrivals hall on the first floor.

Conference and business

There are business centres with fax machines, printers, computers and copy machines on the first and third levels of the main terminal building. Meeting and conference facilities are offered at the Pullman Hotel (tel: +86 20 3606 8866; www.pullmanhotels.com) in the Departure Hall of Terminal A..

Disabled facilities

The airport is fully accessible for wheelchair users as well as visitors that are deaf or hearing-impaired and those that are bling or have poor eyesight. There are adapted toilets for disabled passengers, as well as lifts connecting all floors of the terminal building. Specified parking spaces are also available for disabled travellers.

Car parking
