Apply for one now!Your passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Cambodia. You will be refused entry if your passport is damaged or has missing pages.
In addition to a visa and passport, foreign tourists must also present a digital entry card, the Cambodia e-Arrival (CeA), when entering the country. This can be filled out online for free on the Cambodian government website www.arrival.gov.kh/. Once filled out, an automatically generated QR code is saved on the smartphone and presented upon entry. It can also be filled out on site.
Visas are required by all nationals referred to in the chart above. Obtain your visa online (www.evisa.gov.kh) before travelling. The fee for a single-entry tourist visa (type T) is US$30 plus a US$6 processing fee.
Nationals of Brunei Darussalam, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam can enter Cambodia without a visa. The length of stay varies for citizens from these above mentioned countries, so check with the relevant embassy before your trip.
Travellers who intend to visit both Thailand and Cambodia may consider the ACMECS single-entry visa which allows nationals of 35 countries to enter Thailand and Cambodia for tourism (with single validity for each country). Do note that ACMECS may not be practical to nationals (from some of these 35 countries) who can already enter Thailand without a visa for up to 30 days.
List of 35 countries of which their citizens can apply for ACMECS single-entry visa are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bahrain, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, India, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States of America.
Single-entry tourist visa (Type T): three-month validity. The length of stay allowed in Cambodia is 30 days.
Apply online at www.evisa.gov.kh or at a consulate near you.
Travellers who intend to stay longer than 30 days must apply for an extension at the Immigration Department in Phnom Penh, which is opposite the Phnom Penh International Airport.
