Brussels Airport Guide (BRU)
Brussels Airport is Belgium's busiest airport and is strategically located for easy access to the country's capital, NATO headquarters and European Union buildings. Our Brussels Airport guide highlights terminal facilities, how to get to and from the airport, and nearby accommodation options.
Information desks are available at Departures and Arrivals, respectively. The information desk at the Departures hall is located near check-in row 8.
Brussels Airport is easily accessible from the Brussels inner and outer ring road – follow signs for Brussels Airport or Zaventem. The journey time from central Brussels is approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Transport
Rail: The airport train station is located below the terminal on Level 1. Trains from Brussels Airport go to Brussels-Central (a rail and metro interchange) and other stations in Belgium. The journey to Brussels Central takes 17 minutes. For more information, visit www.belgiantrain.be.
Bus: Three types of buses serve Brussels Airport:

• De Lijn buses connect Brussels Airport with Brussels North. Passengers can pay via the De Lijn's app, on the bus (with a bank card), or text DL to 4884 (only with a Belgian SIM card).
• The Ringtrambus 820 is a tram bus that provides a fast and frequent connection between Brussels Airport and the Vlaamse Rand (the 19 Flemish municipalities surrounding Brussels). The tram bus departs from Platform D and goes to key places like Brussels Expo, Vilvoorde station, and BruCargo.
