Antwerp International Airport Guide (ANR)
Antwerp International Airport serves Belgium's second-largest city and the surrounding Flanders region. This Antwerp International Airport guide provides information on terminal facilities, transport options and nearby hotel recommendations.
From central Antwerp head southeast on Van Eycklei (N184) until you arrive at the junction with Binnensingel (R10). Turn right onto the R10 for 1 km (0.6 miles) and then turn left onto Borsbeeksebrug, which leads to the airport.
Public Transport
The nearest train station to the airport is Station Mortsel, located approximately 1 km (0.6 miles) away. Alternatively, passengers can reach Antwerpen-Berchem, which serves as an interchange train station and is accessible via buses 51, 52, and 53 from Antwerp International Airport in just 10 minutes.
Bus: Bus lines 51, 52 and 53 run between the Antwerp Airport and Antwerpen-Berchem train station. Bus lines 21 and 32, or tram 9 and 11, also take passengers from Antwerp Airport to Rooseveltplaats, close to Antwerpen-Centraal. For bus information, visit www.delijn.be. For train information, visit www.belgiantrain.be.
Taxi: Taxis tend to coincide with flight arrivals. If no taxi is available, contact DTM Taxi (+32 3 366 6666) or Antwerpen Taxi Centrale (+32 3 333 3333).
Terminal facilities
Antwerp International Airport is a relatively small airport; hence there is only a Fly Shop before security and a bar after security.
While there is a small shop offering a basic range of everyday items, duty-free shopping is not available, unfortunately.
Left luggage facilities are unavailable, and passengers should contact their airline(s) regarding lost luggage enquiries.
The small on-site Stampe & Vertongen Museum pays tribute to the Antwerp aviation pioneers Jean Stampe and Maurice Vertongen. Visit www.stampe.be for more information.
Airport facilities
Notably, Antwerp International Airport stands out by offering meeting facilities. Two meeting rooms are available within the terminal building, along with a fully equipped press conference room adjacent to the airport building. These meeting facilities are available for rental. For more details, please contact info@antwerpairport.be.
P2 (Parking Premium) boosts 500 spaces and is opposite the entrance to the airport building. You can find the rates here.
A little further north, on the other side of the roundabout, is Indigo Antwerp Airport Parking (Luchthavenlei, 2100 Anvers). The rates here are cheaper, and passengers can find out more from the Indigo Neo app.
International car hire operators Hertz and Sixt are represented at the airport, with desks in Arrivals.
Leonardo Hotel Antwerp The Plaza
A 4-star boutique hotel, this Leonardo Hotel Antwerp The Plaza is about 10 minutes from the airport by car and a short walk from Antwerp's historic city centre. It offers rooms, suites, a British-themed bar/restaurant, and a café.
YUST Antwerp is relatively close to Antwerp Expo (1.9 km), Antwerp International Airport (3 km), and Station Antwerpen-Berchem (1.4 km). It is favoured by young business executives and digital nomads.
The 3-star Tulip Inn is only five minutes by road from the airport. The hotel offers a restaurant, meeting facilities and car parking.
